April Comes to an End
We had a good ice out and first four weeks of fishing!
Thanks to the families that came aboard and caught some fish! And thanks to those who have been booking trips!
We fished Winnipesaukee a handful of times along with Lake Sunapee. We fished all live bait on Winni and lures/flies on Lake Sunapee. On Winni we only caught Salmon and Rainbows while on Sunapee we boated only Lake Trout and some good quality ones at that. None of the fish were hook wounded or skinny, and we released them all to grow bigger and fight another day.
IT is only late April but rumor has it that the Schoolie Stripers are in and hungry! I am going out this weekend to try to round some up!
May is usually a hot bite on the lakes and we are looking forward to it!
