First trip of the season
Hey all! Just had the first trip of the year Sunday 26th of April. Brought Joe Pych of Hooked-In.com and his friend Chris out on Sunapee for some salmon action (or lack of) It was a rough trip. My kicker died on me, a spar buoy was in the wrong place and a shallow ledge came up quick got us into some trouble! Put in a lot of time with nothing, but as we were pulling in the lines one at a time we hooked into a beautiful salmon, 19 inches and almost 3 lbs! What a beauty!
Sunapee can be tough fishing, and from what I heard, we did very well comparatively. Hopefully the bite picks up and we can start putting more fish in the boat! Still looking to break into the 5 lb catagory!
Fixing up the boat this week, won't be on the water for 10 days because I'm finishing up at UNH.
Go catch some fish!
